How do I use my own domain?

Custom domains let you host your blog with a URL like or

First, you'll need to buy a domain from a registrar like Namecheap, pairNIC, Register, or iWantMyName. Then, you need to make a configuration change with your registrar.

Please note that you do not need to change the nameservers for your domain in any way.

Once you've followed the instructions above, you may need to wait up to 72 hours for the change to take effect.

Now, login to IdentyMe and go to Setting section. Enter your subdomain (ie. or domain (ie. in "Custom Domain" field. Then, click the "Save" button.

Once your custom subdomain or domain is set up, users who visit your domain, for example will automatically redirect your card under domain name that you set.

NOTE: "Custom Domain" feature is available for Premium members only.
